Undergraduate dental programs provide foundational knowledge and clinical skills in periodontology.

  • Diagnose the patient’s periodontal problem, plan, and perform appropriate periodontal treatment.
  • To achieve competency to educate and motivate the patient.
  • To achieve competency to perform thorough oral prophylaxis, subgingival scaling, root planing and minor periodontal surgical procedures.
  • Give proper post treatment instructions and do periodic recall and evaluation.
  • To Familiarize with concepts of osseointegration and basic surgical aspects of implantology.

Postgraduate (MDS) Program, Specializing in Periodontology and Oral Implantology

For dentists seeking advanced expertise, our institution offers a post graduate course i.e. Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Periodontology and Oral Implantology. This program spans over three years and is designed to deepen clinical expertise, research capabilities, and teaching skills in the fields of periodontology and implantology. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that the successful candidates are well-equipped to meet the profession's demands.
