On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2025, Team HDC proudly participated in a mega dental and medical check-up camp held on 31st May at Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Pandoh, organized by Shri Satya Sai Seva Sangathan, Mandi. The camp aimed to spread awareness about tobacco cessation and promote better oral health practices. Attendees received expert guidance on quitting tobacco, along with live demonstrations on proper brushing, flossing, and mouthwash techniques. Children from Adarsh School were also present and received early education on the harmful effects of tobacco to help instill healthy habits from a young age (primordial prevention). A total of 80 patients were screened for oral diseases, and 12 were provided on-site treatment in the mobile dental van. The dedicated dental team served with compassion and commitment, and were warmly felicitated and served lunch as a gesture of gratitude. This collaborative effort marked another meaningful step toward building a healthier, tobacco-free community.
