On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, Team HDC successfully conducted its second outreach dental health camp at Dr. Vijay Memorial School, Dharampur, in association with Sri Satya Sai Seva Sanghathan, District Mandi as part of the college’s World No Tobacco Month Celebrations, 2026. A total of 154 patients were screened during the camp, and 14 patients received on-site dental treatment in the fully equipped and fully functional Dental Van, ensuring access to essential oral healthcare services for the local community. The Sri Satya Sai Seva Sanghathan graciously organized and coordinated the event, felicitated Team HDC for their services, and provided lunch for all participants.
Following the completion of the camp, interns and BDS final-year students undertook a field visit to Civil Hospital Dharampur. The visit provided valuable exposure to public health infrastructure, patient flow, and delivery of healthcare services in a government hospital setting, further strengthening their practical understanding of community dentistry and interprofessional collaboration.
