A meaningful oral health initiative was conducted on 29th July, 2026 at Sehyog Residential School for Special Children, Nagchala, as a collaborative effort between the Department of Periodontology and Implantology and the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Himachal Dental College, Sundernagar. As part of the Oral Hygiene Day Celebrations 2026, a total of 55 special children were screened for oral diseases, provided with oral hygiene samples, and educated on proper toothbrushing and flossing techniques. Children requiring further dental care were referred to Himachal Dental College for necessary treatment and follow-up, reinforcing our commitment to inclusive, preventive, and accessible oral healthcare for every child.
