Himachal Dental College, Sundernagar actively participated in the Mega Medical and Dental Camp organized by the Special Olympics Bharat – Mandi Chapter at Sayog Residential School for Special Children, Nagchala on Friday, 11th July 2025. The team conducted dental screening and treatment under the Special Smiles initiative, a key component of the Special Olympics Bharat program. Other health initiatives at the camp included Fit Feet, among others. The event provided an enriching and insightful experience for the students, who gained valuable exposure to working with children with special needs, fostering empathy, patience, and professionalism. The college maintains a consistent collaboration with Special Olympics Bharat, participating in similar outreach programs at special schools on a regular basis as part of its commitment to inclusive oral healthcare and community engagement.
