Himachal Dental College & Hospital (HDC), Sundernagar, proudly shares the achievements of the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry at the ISPPD Pedo Convention 2026, held from 12 to 14 March 2026 at Visakhapatnam. Prof. Dr. Vasundhara Pathania delivered an insightful Guest Lecture on “Catching the Clues: Pediatric Dentistry in Early Diagnosis of Sleep Breathing Disorders,” and Dr. Ishant was felicitated for serving as Chairperson for a Scientific Session. Five postgraduate students, Dr. Shriya, Dr. Prishita, Dr. Bhavya, Dr. Parul, and Dr. Ashneet, presented papers and posters at the convention, reflecting the department’s strong academic commitment. The department takes immense pride in the outstanding achievements of its students, with Dr. Prishita (PG 2nd Year) securing the Best Paper Award and Dr. Parul (PG 1st Year) securing the Best Poster Award. These accomplishments reflect the visionary leadership and support of the Directors, Dr. Anil Singla and Dr. Vikas Jindal, the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Baljeet Singh, and the leadership of the HOD, Dr. Kamal Kishore Gupta. The department continues to advance research in pediatric oral health across Sundernagar and Mandi, focusing on early diagnosis and preventive care. These efforts are contributing to improved awareness and better long term health outcomes for children in the community.
