Himachal Dental College, Sundernagar celebrated its Annual Day on Thursday, 19th June 2025 with immense enthusiasm and grace. The event was honored by the presence of Mrs. Sakshi Verma, S.P. Mandi, as the Chief Guest and was successfully conducted under the guidance of Hon’ble Chairperson Smt. Santosh Gupta, Directors Dr. Anil Singla, Dr. Ashma Singla, Dr. Vikas Jindal, Dr. Kanika Jindal, and the leadership of Principal Dr. Baljeet Singh and Vice Principal Dr. Devender Sharma. Principal Dr. Baljeet Singh presented the Annual Report for 2024–25, highlighting key achievements including screening of over 1 lakh patients in the OPD, 6,000+ examined in camps, and 650+ treated through the Mobile Dental Van. Students made remarkable academic contributions with publications in national and international journals, and the college conducted numerous camps in partnership with renowned organizations. The day also celebrated student excellence, with toppers from MDS and BDS exams being felicitated, along with winners of the Sports Week, which included events like cricket, badminton, volleyball, tug of war, and more. Mrs. Sakshi Verma appreciated the college's progress and motivated students to continue striving for excellence. A proud moment was the release of the college’s quarterly newsletter “HUES”, led by Dr. Shweta Verma, Dr. Rajeev Biswas, Dr. Akash Agnihotri, and Simran Kalia. The audience was captivated by vibrant cultural performances, showcasing the talent and spirit of HDC students. In a special gesture, appreciation plaques were awarded to Dr. Shweta Verma, Dr. Vasundhara Pathania, Dr. Rajib Biswas, Dr. Sahil Thakar, and Dr. Dharmesh Sharma for their year-round dedication to student engagement and learning. The success of the event was made possible by the tireless efforts of the faculty and enthusiastic participation of students, making it a truly memorable celebration of growth, achievement, and service.
