Himachal Dental College, Sundernagar organized a dental screening and oral health awareness camp at St. Francis Xavier’s School, Bagla on Friday, 27th June 2025. The camp aimed to promote preventive dental care and instill healthy oral hygiene practices among schoolchildren. A total of 387 students were screened by a team of dentists and interns from the college. Special attention was given to middle school students, who were provided with interactive oral health education sessions, including demonstrations on proper brushing techniques and dietary advice. As part of a unique initiative, five select Dental Marshals from the school were trained to assist in the camp activities and were awarded certificates of appreciation for their involvement and enthusiasm in spreading oral health awareness among peers. The camp was well-received by students and staff, serving as an excellent platform for early diagnosis and health education.
