Team HDC conducted a Dental Awareness, Education and Screening Camp at Paradise Public School, Sundernagar, on Thursday, 24th September 2026. A total of 226 students and staff members were screened during the programme, which included interactive oral health education, games and activities, demonstrations of proper brushing and oral hygiene practices, dental screening, and personalised oral health guidance. Five Dental Marshals from Classes 2nd-4th and five Tobacco-Free Youth Ambassadors from Classes 9th-12th were selected and oriented to promote oral health and tobacco prevention among their peers. Good Oral Health Stickers were also provided to reinforce healthy habits. The enthusiastic participation of the students and staff made the programme a meaningful step towards strengthening oral health awareness, promoting preventive dental care, and encouraging healthy practices among schoolchildren. Those requiring urgent dental care were referred to the Sundernagar, for necessary treatment.
