Himachal Dental College successfully conducted a Dental Health Awareness, Screening and Treatment Camp at NHPC Parbati-II Hydroelectric Project, Sainj, on Saturday, 20th June, 2026. A total of 84 beneficiaries underwent oral health screening, while 16 patients received on-site dental treatment through the fully equipped mobile dental van. Individualized oral health education was provided to all participants, and tobacco cessation counseling was offered to current tobacco users. The participating students displayed commendable professionalism, dedication, and compassion throughout the camp. The NHPC management extended warm hospitality to the team and hosted lunch at the project site. As a token of appreciation, the team was felicitated with traditional Kullu shawls. The programme concluded with discussions on strengthening future collaborations and community oral health initiatives between NHPC and Himachal Dental College.
